Julian Chan is a prominent freelance saxophonist/flutist, educator, and lecturer at the Institute of Music, UCSI University. He has been actively performing around the Asian region and performed with various jazz luminaries such as Michael Veerapen, David Gomes, Jose Thomas, Jonathan Lee, Sheila Majid, Ning Baizura, among others. He has been involved with multiple concerts, festivals, music tours, and has made recordings for many albums locally and internationally. Julian is currently an active member of one of Malaysia’s most sought-after jazz outfit, WVC Malaysian Jazz Ensemble.
