Founder and CEO of Kartel Records, Joe Flizzow is a singer-songwriter, music producer, entrepreneur, and Malaysia’s International Hip Hop Ambassador. In 2015, his song ‘What’s To Be Said’ won ‘Best Song’ at the 29th Song Champion Awards, and his other song ‘Apa Khabar’ won ‘Best Hip Hop Song’ at the 21st Music Industry Awards. In 2018, he took home the MTV EMA (Europe Music Award) for Best Southeast Asian Act, making him the first Malaysian to win the award.

The legendary Malaysian rapper is also the host for rap cypher show, 16 Baris, alongside DMC Champion, DJ CZA. A collaboration between Kartel Records and Rocketfuel Entertainment, 16 Baris aims to provide a platform to showcase rising Southeast Asian hip-hop acts.
