Returning to Malaysia to take the Borneo Jazz Festival stage this year is the Chris Stalk Quartet, a band of unique sounds and musical influence. The band comprises of Chris Stalk (saxophone and AKAI ewi), Pierre Audetat (piano), Jules Vulzor (bass), and Chris Calpini (drum).
Together, the band brings a mix of electronic music, hip hop, and jazz beats. The members of the quartet are polished musicians with skills that are sure to impress. Having lived in Malaysia from 2009 until 2017, Chris Stalk has performed with leading Malaysian artistes like Lewis Pragasam and John Thomas; including playing in No Black Tie Records’ live recording, “Traffic In The Jungle” with Lewis Pragasam.
