Consisting of four jazz musicians from Taipei, Taiwan, Animal Triste is a quartet inspired by a concept stemmed by the human element. They seek to use life’s experiences such as sadness, the good and the ugly, humour, and chaos to produce tunes that is able to tug the heartstrings.
Audiences can be sure to gather their compositions of borrowed elements from classical chamber music, middle eastern music inspirations, free improvisations as well as familiar tunes from recognisable Japanese manga or video games that will bring the feeling of nostalgia.
They’ve actively performed since their inception in 2012 and look forward to new seasons where they introduce new materials and series.
