Since 1980 Diego Borotti started the parallel activities of being a composer and band leader. Diego lent his sound to numerous formations, from a trio to big band, among which the National Jazz Orchestra, and has taken part in several record projects working with artists such as Dave Weckl, John Patitucci, Skip Haden, Steve Grossman, among others.
Since 1997 he has been taking part in artistic management of “Jazz in Town” in Turin and Bologna, Italy.
