ZaJz is a modern jazz-fusion band formed 5 months ago (February 2019) and consists of 4 music students that are currently pursuing their music degree in UCSI Institute of Music. The band focuses on creating contrast and expansion in music by exploring a variety of timbre and soundscape. The band aims to create music in a form of expression that generates experience for its listeners. The band’s sound is influenced by contemporary music, modern jazz and post-rock. Musicians of the band are Joyie Lai (guitar), Anthony Ting (bass), Joshua David (drums) and Mohammad Rashman (keyboards) .
