Cotopaxi was formed in 2012 by 3 musicians: Paul (Drummer / Percussion), Randall (Guitarist) and Edmond (Bassist). Drawing inspiration from their vast musical influences, they started out experimenting various sounds mainly with a touch of Jazz fusion. (Banana Boat) was their first instrumental song recorded during that year. In 2013; The band members decided to look for a second guitarist; Daniel, who contributed a lot of ideas for the band’s original songs influenced by the Blues. In 2016; The band decided to go with the idea of blending Jazz fusion with Hip Hop and decided to bring Barry in as their rapper & vocalist, due to his knowledge for rhymes and poetry, along with Andy on Keyboards. They have finalized both of their very own songs; This is where the magic happens.
