An all-star group from the cream of Cape Town’s jazz scene.
The “jazzification” of the Cape’s folk songs go back to the time of carnival revellers known as the Klopse who paraded through the streets of the city.
Today, it stands as a genre of its own – lively tunes with rich compositions that is part of the inheritance from big names such as Dollar Brand, Robbie Jansen, Basil Coetzee, Hilton Schilder, Jonathan Butler and Chris McGregor.
