Kuching, 20 February 2012 – It’s time to get ready for the 7th edition of Borneo Jazz. An adult daily pass to Borneo Jazz 2012 is now available online at a special promotional price of RM30 only starting today.
This early promotional offer is valid until March 31, and only available via phone and internet purchasing and not applicable at any other outlet sales. The ‘not to be missed’ Jazz Festival will be held once again at the Parkcity Everly Hotel in Miri on May 11-12, 2012.
The organizer also pleased to announce a special preview show at the Opening Night on May 10. The show which will be with dinner is now on sale at RM80. The South African’s Schalk Joubert’s 3 Continents Sextet will be performing at this dinner and they will bring their most exciting and unique show together with one local cultural performance from Sarawak. This dinner show will take place at the Parkcity Everly Hotel at 7pm until 10pm.
There will also be two preview shows in Kuala Lumpur prior to the festival on the 8th & 9th May. Staging two jazz performances from Indonesia and France, the preview shows scheduled at 7pm – 10pm at Taylor’s University, Lakeside Campus in Sunway and the second venue is soon to be confirmed. Aimed to be the leading tourism-driven Jazz music festival in the region, Borneo Jazz 2012 will also introduce the inaugural of Craft Bazaar and indoor Musical Expo at the venue.
Featuring 8 international acts that is New Cool Collective from the Netherlands, Schalk Joubert’s 3 Continents Sextet (South Africa), Nita Aartsen (Indonesia), SLIXS (Germany), Koh Mr Saxman and Takeshi Band (Thailand), Tangora (France), Tropic Green (Singapore) and F.V.E. Project (Malaysia). The Borneo Jazz 2012 is all set to chill all Jazz lovers.
