GERMAN STYLE JAZZ AT BORNEO JAZZ

Kuching, Friday – Having a rather unique band name, Mo’ Blow, a four-member jazz band from Germany will bring the nostalgic sounds of the 70’s at the forthcoming Borneo Jazz Festival in Miri in May.

Making their earlier appearance at the festival in 2013, the collection of German talents will be back to demonstrate their style and also interspersed with a combination of the Didgeridoo, a native Australian music instrument, to complement band’s stage presentation.

The band, performed to world-wide audience and had received awards from among others, the notable Berlin Jazz & Blues Award 2008 and the Future Sounds Award 2011.

Being under contract with the music label ACT as part of the German’s young musicians programme “Young German Jazz”, Mo’ Blow has released their last album “Gimme The Boots” in 2013.

The two-day exciting festival of Jazz music will be celebrated on May 8 and 9 at ParkCity Everly Hotel in Miri.

Tickets are priced at RM 95.00 for an adult two-day entrance, RM 50.00 for a single entrance and a family package of two adults and two children at RM 100.00.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketcharge.com.my and are also available at TicketCharge Call Centres, TicketCharge’s KL and Penang offices and all TicketCharge authorized outlets in the region.

In Sarawak, tickets are available at Speedy Video outlets at Plaza Merdeka and The Spring Mall in Kuching and at Speedy Video Outlet in Bintang Plaza, Imperial Mall and Boulevard Shopping Centre in Miri.

For the 10th Anniversary of Borneo Jazz celebration, Sarawak Tourism Board will feature the best performers’ lineup by bringing back favorite performers from the past years which cover a wide range of jazz genre from all over the world.
