EARLY BIRD BORNEO JAZZ TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

Kuching, Thurs: – The 2015 Borneo Jazz Festival’s entrance tickets are now available for sale.

For jazz music lovers, the early bird ticket for an adult pass is priced at RM60.00 for the two-day and RM40.00 for one-day pass.

For family package of two adults and two children (aged 7-12), it is sold at RM80.00.

The early bird sales will end on April 15, 2015 and is on first come first serve basis.

Tickets purchased at the festival gate is priced at RM 130.00 for an adult entrance while a child entrance is at 50.00 for the two nights.

For a day pass purchased on the festival day, adult is charged at RM 70.00 and a child is at RM 30.00 while a family package of RM 150.00 is also available for two adults and two children.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketcharge.com.my and is also available at all TicketCharge’s authorized storefront at the Speedy Video outlets at Boulevard and Bintang malls in Miri and also at the Speedy Video outlets at Plaza Merdeka in Kuching.

Tickets are also available at all Visitors’ Information Centre in Miri, Sibu and Kuching and at all TicketCharge outlets in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

The two-day annual festival of Jazz music will be celebrated on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 at ParkCity Everly Hotel in Miri.

The 10th Anniversary of the Jazz celebration will feature the top lineup bringing back past favorites from the collection of the year’s best performers rendering a wide range of jazz genre world-wide.

From Sarawak, a five-piece ensemble “All The Best” featuring Miri-born Syafiee Obe Hairunie, will lead the local challenge.

Lluis Coloma, from the Spanish Blues scene, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band from the United States of America featuring exuberant traditional brass band from the rich jazz traditions of New Orleans will be featured in the lineup.

Also on stage are Diamond Dave and The Doodaddies, from Perth, Jump4Joy, the Swedish high energy entertainers, Mo’Blow from Berlin, Germany, the Nylons, a cappella jazz group from Canada, while from the United Kingdom, Anthony Strong who is currently hailed as “England’s new jazz superstar” will also take the center-stage.
